  • Psychological Trauma Level 1 (Informed) – Trauma Informed practice for anyone working with children and young people: Sowing Seeds

    Target Audience:

    This course is for all staff coming into contact with children and young people. It is a pre-requisite for anyone working with children and young people who then go on to complete e-learning module “Becoming Trauma Informed.”

    This course was developed by NHS Education for Scotland, in partnership with the Scottish Government for everyone who works with children and young people, any of whom may have been affected by psychological trauma.

    Aim:

    The Course aims to support people to understand the impact of trauma and to know how to adapt the way they work to make a positive difference to the lives of children and young people affected by trauma.

    Upon completion, best practice would be for your team to complete the guided workshop titled “Taking a Trauma Informed Lens to your service and practice: Sowing Seeds for working with children and young people.”
