Target Audience:
This training is mandatory for existing Social Work Service Moving & Handling Linkworkers and Keytrainers. Linkworkers and Keytrainers are required to attend this update course every 12 months in order to maintain their competencies associated with their role. Staff should self nominate to attend this course within these timescales in order to maintain their Linkworker / Keytrainer Accreditation.
Staff attending this must :
- be an existing Moving & Handling Linkworker or Keytrainer;
- have the physical ability to participate in the practical elements of this training.
Aim:
The training will provide existing Moving & Handling Linkworkers / Key trainers with :
- the opportunity to refresh their skills;
- any new information regarding Moving & Handling Practices relevant to the Social Work Service
- Staff competencies are assessed and re-verified providing re-accreditation in the Linkworker / Key trainer role.
Outcome:
This course will provide participants with updated knowledge and skills to provide re-accreditation in the Linkworker / Keytrainer role.
