Staff with a specific remit to respond to children know to be affected by trauma.
Aim:
This short video explains the ‘Window of Tolerance’ and how it is affected by psychological trauma and aims to enable participants to think about trauma, how it affects children and the importance of relationships, age and stage of development, partnership working and implementation of the 5 key principles of trauma-informed practice.
