Psychological Trauma Level 2 (Skilled) – Developing your trauma-skilled practice 3: Understanding the impact of trauma on mental health and evidence-based pathways to recovery E-Learning

Target Audience:

This course is for anyone working with people who may have contact with people who may have been affected by traumatic events

Aim:

This module is comprised of two units. It is designed to increase your awareness of the mental health consequences that can arise from trauma and how to increase access to evidence-based interventions if needed.

The outcomes of this course are:

1. To identify the range of natural reactions to traumatic events

2. To identify the symptoms of PTSD and Complex PTSD

3. To recognise when a person may benefit from a trauma specialist intervention and know how to facilitate access to intervention(s).

Assessment/Exam

At the end of this course there will be a short assessment.   You need to score 80%.
