The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives rights to almost anyone to see any recorded information held by any public body or government department in Scotland. The purpose of the Act is to give people increased access to the wealth of information held by public bodies and government departments, therefore making them more transparent.
With the aim of increasing awareness and preventing exploitation, this course covers a range of areas. This includes defining what modern slavery is, recognising the red flags and understanding what to do if you suspect modern slavery
This course provides an overview of what money laundering is, how it is carried out and how to prevent it by following legislation.
This course has been designed to explain the legal requirement for conducting a right to work check and the practicalities associated with it and will take around 45 minutes to complete.]]>
